Please note that Ports of America changed its regulations in regard to NON-DRIVABLE and EXTENSIVE DAMAGED vehicles. Please note that AuctionExport will now use container shipping for all extensive damaged, non-drivable vehicles that have to be forklifted and are going to WEST AFRICA. All drivable vehicles without visible extensive damage will sail by RORO as usual, vehicles that are non-drivable and do not have extensive damage will be accepted by RORO TOWABLE. Ports of destination will stay the same as Tincan Port for Nigeria and Tema Port for Ghana.
Transportation
As soon as the full payment is received, we will start the shipping process. A purchased car will be delivered by two main means of transportation - by ground and by ocean. It usually takes around 45–60 days for a car to be delivered to the destination port. This term will include inland delivery to the exit port, Customs clearance at the exit port and ocean shipping to your destination.

Ground Transportation
Also known as land transportation, it is used to haul vehicles from its current pick up location to either exit warehouse or exit port. Vehicles are transported on flat beds, open trailers or enclosed trucks. It all depends on what the client prefers and is willing to pay, since enclosed trucks usually have a higher cost. All of our trucks offer ground insurance in case of certain incidents, but we also offer additional insurance at an additional cost.
Ocean
2 major services are used to deliver your car from North America to your country: RORO and Container.
RORO: Mostly known as the roll-on/roll-off shipping method. This service is highly used due to its simplicity and fast handling operation.
How it works: All types of wheeled cargo such as automobiles, trucks, trailers, etc. are driven on and off the ship. These ships are designed to load this type of self-propelled, towable or forklift cargo.
The majority of countries offer a regular RORO service, but some destinations offer: RORO towable and forklift service for an additional charge. Please note, it does not include ocean insurance.
Container: Containers have standardized (fixed) dimensions. You can usually find the most common sizes: 20', 40', 40'HC (high cube), 45', 48' and 53' available from most exit ports, but some shipping lines may not offer all sizes to specific destinations.
How it works: Our certified drivers will pick up your vehicle from its current location and deliver it to our exit warehouse. Once the vehicle arrives, pictures will be taken and uploaded to your profile (pictures are available for container shipping only).
If you choose container consolidation, as soon as more of our other clients' vehicles are ready, your vehicle will be shipped towards our clearing agent.
If you are shipping your own container, we will wait for the rest of your vehicles to arrive at the warehouse. Usually vehicles are loaded into a 40' container with three more cars aside from yours, making it a 40' container with four cars.
Air
Have you ever thought of having your car in less than two weeks transit time? Our air shipping service can assist you with that!
How it works: Our shipping department will provide you first with a quote and possible scheduled routes for the flight. Once confirmed, one of our licensed drivers will pick up your vehicle and deliver it to the exit airport. Please note that we also offer enclosed truck service at an additional cost per client's request. Once the vehicle is at the exit port, the airline will confirm the flight # after your car has cleared customs. We will provide you with all tracking information when your car is on route.
